Nexus Administrators, Inc. is looking to add experienced plan administrators to our team of Client Service Representatives.   At Nexus we work within a team structure and the CSR plays an integral role in ensuring our clients receive timely and accurate administrative services.

Whether a Senior or an Assistant, you will be a part of a team responsible to oversee the day-to-day management and annual filing requirements of an assigned caseload of customer accounts.   Our mission is to develop lasting client relationships through excellent customer service and knowledgeable, professional advice.  

Qualifications to include:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing full service qualified plan administration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist employers, plan contacts and financial advisors
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter able to monitor and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with industry specific  plan compliance, document and contact management software (Datair, FT William or Pension Pro a plus)
  • College Degree – preferably in a finance, accounting or business related field.  Previous experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Telecommute is available following onsite training

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

A qualified candidate should possess the skills to perform these duties themself or oversee team members in the following areas:

  • Interpret and accurately apply the provisions of the plan document
  • Perform eligibility calculations
  • Determine Highly Compensated and Key Employees
  • Determine and apply vesting percentages/update custodial records
  • Reconcile trust assets and participant loans
  • Prepare Forms 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and related schedules
  • Oversee participant distributions
  • Based on experience, review of compliance, testing and client communications
  • Perform special projects as needed
  • Foster a learning environment among team members
