401(k) Retirement Plan Administrator

Boulay Donnelly & Supovitz Consulting Group, Inc., a small retirement plan administration and consulting firm, is seeking a team player to join its staff. We will consider candidates with experience or will train you for this challenging and specialized position. Please submit resume and salary requirements.

Position Details:

• Hours are 8:00-4:00 / 37.50 hours per week for full time position
• Long term position
• Generous retirement benefits
• Some additional hours necessary during tax season

Education and Experience:

• College degree preferred with major in Math, Business, Accounting
• Office experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of plan administration for assigned clients
• Collect employee data and reconcile contributions/assets
• Prepare Annual Reports including employee eligibility, company contributions, compliance testing
• Prepare Form 5500
• Process termination distributions, loans, hardships etc. and prepare Form 1099-R
• Prepare plan documents
• Service clients on a day-to-day basis over the phone
• Conduct regulatory and compliance research, reading and reporting, as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Detail oriented
• Proficient in math, strong analytical and/or accounting skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Skilled in building strong client relationships
• Able to easily adapt to evolving priorities
• Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational, case management and time management skills; attention to detail
• Able to work independently as part of a team
