Plan Administrator for Retirement Plans

Midwest TPA firm seeks a plan administrator with 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration services.

All of our staff currently work remotely from their home.

This is a full-time position but could be part-time position in the right circumstances.

You would be assigned a book of plans that include defined contribution and defined benefit/cash balance plans. Most of your clients would be 401(k) and profit sharing plans. It is a definite plus if you have experience working on DB/CB plans but this is not essential if you are otherwise the right candidate. You do not need to have actuarial experience.

You must have a solid background working with the rules under the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA.

Since you would working remotely, you must be highly motivated, well organized and have excellent writing and proof-reading skills. We offer strong training and backup assistance, but you must be a go-to person who can handle a lot of responsibility.

Our firm makes extensive use of technology and you must be comfortable with using technology, particularly learning new technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is a must. Knowledge of Relius Administration is a definite plus.
