Qualified Pension Consultants, Inc. is a Cleveland, OH based retirement plan consulting firm.  We are a fast-paced, employee-empowered organization with the goal of becoming the best TPA in the industry.  We strive to support our plan sponsor, advisor and CPA clients in administrating the sponsors retirement plan. We are a growing firm with more than 300 retirement plans with assets exceeding $500 million.

We are expanding our Plan Administration team and are currently seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable person to grow with our group.  You will have the ability to work from your home office or in office with the support of Qualified Pension Consultants, Inc.

Role:  Handle case load of qualified retirement plans of various types, consult with plan sponsor and advisor clients on improving current plan, various other duties to be determined from time to time, and other leadership duties to help grow business and increase client satisfaction.

The job duties include but are not limited to:

• Be responsible for a case load of Defined Contribution plans
• Compliance testing ADP/ACP, 410(b), 415, 404, 401(a)(4), 414, etc.
• Government Forms preparation
• Trust reconciliation
• Consulting and plan design

The plan administrator position requires:

• Provide industry leading customer experience to plan sponsor and advisor clients
• At least 2 years’ experience as Plan Administrator
• Learn all systems used by Qualified Pension Consultants, Inc. in operations of business
• Provide input to improve Qualified Pension Consultants, Inc. customer experience and processes
• Other duties as they are needed to grow our business
• Strong analytical and mathematical skill set
• Strong verbal, written and consultative communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivation to work with little direction or supervision
• Experience with Ft. Williams and Relius administrative software preferred
• ASPPA or NIPA designations preferred or willingness to obtain certification(s)
• Knowledge of MS Office
