We are looking for an experienced, energetic, bright and self-motivated professional to join our growing Defined Contribution Team.  Our Defined Contribution Administrators/Reviewers are assigned a designated block of cases to oversee the plan's administration to ensure plans are in compliance with IRS/DOL regulations and imposed deadlines are met.  This position requires preparation and/or reviewing annual reports, tracking deadlines, interpreting and reviewing plan documents, consulting on compliance issues and working proactively with colleagues. MGKS is an actuarial and retirement plan administration firm providing TPA services to all size of employers.  We work with business owners and their advisors to design, implement, and administer primarily 401(k) Profit Sharing Plans, Cash Balance Plans and Defined Benefit Plans. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage an assigned case load to insure required deadlines are met
• Cultivate existing client relationship with our clients and their advisors
• Perform and review compliance testing to include ADP/ACP, 415. 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing, determine corrective measures as needed
• Reconcile plan assets
• Review Distribution and loan requests, calculate and review RMD's & QDRO's
• Prepare and Review Form 5500, 5330 and other governmental related forms
• Track plan terminations
• Identify potential plan redesign opportunities, top-heavy issues and prohibited transactions

Knowledge and Key Abilities:

• Proficient in ASC, FTW, Microsoft Office, preferred (PensionPro a plus)
• Communicate in a positive manner with principals, clients, advisors and other professionals
• Ability to communicate effectively to plan sponsors, advisors, and team administrators
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload
• Flexible, adaptable and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Take ownership of assigned caseload 

Education and Experience Required

• College Degree
• Professional designation (ASPPA, NIPA) a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years of 401(k) plan administration experience
