ERISA Pros, LLC is a fast-paced, high-growth professional services firm that specializes in providing ERISA compliance solutions to employers through partnerships with Employee Benefit Brokers.  We prepare Wrap Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, Premium Only Plans and Annual Form 5500s through a suite of solutions designed to meet the range of needs from those of large, complex employers to smaller groups with straight-forward plan designs.  The Company, which has existing and often long-standing relationships with many of the top ten US Insurance Brokerage Firms, is seeking a seasoned Director of Business Development to establish new relationships with Employee Benefit Brokers, their Producers and Account Management teams connecting and closing end user/client deals.  

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as an Employee Benefits Producer or Senior Account Manager with revenue driving responsibility at a large nationally or regionally recognized insurance broker;
  •  A demonstrated track record meeting Company goals by originating new business and managing it for growth; 
  • An in-depth knowledge of the market,
  • A comprehensive understanding of health and welfare benefit plans;
  • Existing relationships at the executive level of large national or regional brokers; and
  • The ability to open doors to our broker-partners: to develop new revenue streams from these channels; and to manage them for long-term growth.

Our compliance solutions are often offered by our broker-partners to their best and most complex employer groups; and our products and services are consistently considered to be of the highest quality in the industry.

A candidate must be High Energy, of Good Character and a Team Player.  The following attributes and skills would also be important:

  • Excellent Presentation, Telephone Prospecting and Closing Abilities
  • Outstanding Negotiating and Closing Techniques
  • At least ten (10) Years’ Experience in the Market
  • Existing Relationships, especially with Larger Brokers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a base salary, commission and bonuses.  The Company offers Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits and provides a 401(k) savings plan.
