Retirement Plan Processor

Summary of Responsibilities:  The Recordkeeping Processor will be responsible for processing money in / money out transactions.  This includes participant transactions requests related to transfers, distributions and loans and plan sponsor payroll processing.  Additional responsibilities include the cash and asset reconciliations, participant statements, fee processing and participant communication and servicing. 

Responsibilities will include, among other duties:

  • Correspond with clients providing superior client service
  • Daily Processing of Participant Trades
  • Daily Fund Reconciliation Tasks
  • Communication with Third Party Contacts (trust and payroll companies)
  • Updating & Monitoring of Mutual Funds
  • Processing of Employee Census Data
  • Allocation and Processing of Contributions
  • Preparation of Trust Accounting Reconciliations
  • Processing of Distributions, Loans and QDROs
  • Assist with new plan setup and asset conversions
  • Preparation of plan reconciliations and audit requirements
  • General administration duties including data entry, database management, and assistance with proposals

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of plan administration and recordkeeping experience
  • Excellent math and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and ability to prioritize
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material in a responsible manner
  • Organizational and time management skills

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Goal oriented, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience
  • Relius Administration experience a plus
