Retirement Plan Administrator

Alliance Benefit Group of Houston, Inc. (ABG) is one of the fastest growing pension administration and recordkeeping firms in Texas. We provide services to all types of qualified retirement plans, with particular emphasis on 401(k) plans.

We are seeking professional and energetic individuals to serve in our Compliance Department to assist with the annual management, compliance testing, and governmental reporting of retirement plans. In addition, having worked with retirement plan conversions and de-conversions, or familiarity with the plan conversion process would be a plus.

This position will be the primary point of contact relating to retirement plan onboarding and annual testing administration for our clients. Individuals will function as a liaison between clients, brokers and vendors, advising on benefit plan management, and other related plan matters.

While working as part of a team on a wide range of retirement plan administration initiatives and projects, individuals in these positions are provided with opportunities to expand in knowledge, skills, and abilities through OTJ and industry sponsored training.

Qualifications and requirements are a college degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of retirement plan industry experience and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.  Individuals must be detail oriented, have excellent math skills, computer skills: Excel, Word, and Email.  Successful candidates will be adept at problem solving, personal time management and organizational skills, have a friendly and flexible attitude, a strong customer service focus and good communication skills and follow-up.
