The Retirement Group, LLC is a rapidly growing, highly respected TPA firm in Verona NJ.  We are looking to immediately add the right team members.  We seek experienced individuals who are excited for personal and professional growth. Multiple positions on our team are currently available.

Administrators will be responsible for managing of a block of plans. Daily tasks include:

  • Designing and Preparing plan documents, corporate resolutions, amendments, notices
  • Developing proposal illustrations
  • Annual valuations
  • Compliance testing
  • 5500 and government filings
  • Distributions and loans
  • Day-to-day administrative functions

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • A positive attitude and desire to learn is a must!
  • Experience in the retirement plan industry is strongly preferred but we will consider all applicants.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL rules & regulations and the ability to remain current with ever-changing regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills - You will be working with clients, financial advisors, and other team members daily. It is important to develop and maintain strong relationships. Client Satisfaction is vitally important.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and have a strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task - the ability to meet multiple deadlines and priorities while keeping calm under pressure is a must.
  • Must be a Team Player – we are all here to help each other succeed
  • Must possess the ability to work on site as well as virtual environments
  • Must be proactive and possess analytical as well as problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with FTWilliams and Pension Pro are preferred – training is available if you have experience with similar products.
  • Experience with new comparability plans, balance forward reporting, pooled accounts, brokerage accounts, and Defined Benefit plans is highly desirable but not required.
  • Professional industry designations (ASPAA) – If you do not currently have any, the willingness to obtain them is required.
