General Function
Work with Internal Fifth Third employees (Institutional Sales Officers, Relationship Managers, and Client Coordinators) to ensure that all Retirement Advantage product prospects and current clients meet ERISA document compliance. Primary responsibility for providing administrative support to maintain quality controls regarding Fifth Third Bank's Retirement Plan Services. Support Institutional in the area of Retirement Plan Documentation and overall ERISA knowledge.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work with Institutional Sales Officers to review prospective business for ERISA compliance prior to close of sale.
  • Consult with Relationship Managers and clients on amendments, restatements, or document updates.
  • Map new business document to current Fifth Third prototype or volume submitter plan document.
  • Meet with Relationship Managers and Plan Sponsors to discuss proposed changes.
  • Create amendments or restatements for new business and current retirement advantage clients.
  • Review document changes with all parties.
