Administrative Fiduciary Services, Inc. is looking to fill a Distribution / Loan Manager position in our Houston office.  AFS is a vibrant and growing national 3(16) provider. We have presence nation-wide allowing us to grow in excess of 20% per year and providing advancement opportunities for our professionals.  Although welcomed, industry experience is not necessary and paid training will be provided. 

Candidates will also be required to successfully complete the NIPA Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator Certificates.  In order to pass the three required exams, most individuals must invest time studying during personal time.  For additional information on the Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator Certificate Program, please visit NIPA’s website at www.nipa.org.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment;
  • Ensure client and participant satisfaction through the loan and distribution process;
  • Assist with development of Distribution / Loan team consisting of 2-4 staff members;
  • Keep current with new regulations and proposed legislation as well as an awareness of proposed legislation surrounding loans and distributions;
  • Assist with AFS client / broker educational seminars, webinars, or special AFS events;
  • Review and approve distribution and loan requests;
  • Communicate with management, client relationship managers, advisors, plan sponsors, and participants on status of requests;
  • Prepare and deliver distribution packages for plan participants;
  • Identify loan defaults and MRD from online reports;
  • Prepare and process annual forceout distribution projects;
  • Pursue and attain NIPA’s Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator Certificates;
  • Establish strong working relationships with all vendors and plan sponsors to ensure open and accurate communication;
  • Perform work according to AFS policies and procedures;
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of client management experience, including minimum 5 years’ experience with loan and distribution processing
  • Ability to manage workload towards daily goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • High level of critical thinking
  • Committed to lifelong learning and coachable
  • NIPA or ASPPA credentials preferred
  • College degree required
