Internal Sales Representative

Job Summary:  Internal Sales Representative will work as a team with an experienced Regional Director(s) to develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors and other intermediaries in order to sell Pentegra retirement plan solutions in the Regional Director(s) territory.  This position will support the Regional Director(s) in reaching their annual revenue goal each year. 


  • Deliver high quality, responsive service to all inbound requests for information and sales support from advisors and Regional Director(s).  This includes but not limited to: proposal and cost analysis production, presentation creation, appointment and conference call scheduling.
  • Conducts outbound calls to follow up on proposals, provide new product information and insight into identifying opportunities and leads. (LinkedIn, blogs, Pentalks). 
  • Initiate sales by making personalized outbound calls
  • Supports Regional Director(s) with joint development and execution of a business plan, territory segmentation and scheduling appointments for the Regional Director(s)
  • Develop relationships with advisors to better understand their business in order to further their utilization of Pentegra’s Retirement Plan solutions.
  • Lead advisors and prospective clients through the post-sales setup paperwork process.
  • Learn Pentegra’s business model, value propositions, products, processes and fees.


  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with an expertise in adapting to different audiences
  • Utilize strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of retirement plan services
  • Experience working with fee-based RIAs and expert retirement plan advisors
  • QPFC, QKA or equivalent designation or wiliness to attain
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Salesforce knowledge preferred
