- Primary responsibility will be to work on
Regulatory required plan restatements, managing the restatement process, including but not limited to creating procedures for the restatement project, writing the internal communications and external communications to plan sponsors, training the internal
teams on the process and completing the plan restatements.
- When not working on the restatements, incumbents provide analysis, and options on qualified retirement plan issues.
- Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with
Clients e.g. plan sponsors, attorneys, accountants and tax advisors.
- Make suggestions to clients on matters dealing with qualified plan arrangements.
- Help Clients find solutions that enable them to meet business objectives, such as
redesigning the plan to help reduce cost, enhancing plan contribution features, etc.
- Understand new IRS/DOL regulations to identify business/client impacts.
- Review plan documents.
