The Sr Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative services to plans that have been
designated for internal compliance services.
Complete moderately complex form 5500 filings with the DOL and annual non-discrimination tests as required by the IRS.
Ability to consult on
general compliance services and qualified administration
Maintain MS Access database, excel spreadsheets as required and generating regularly scheduled reports, generating plan documents and reviewing and importing census data. Reviews and imports
Provide training and assistance to less experienced team members.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area, or equivalent experience
2-4 years related work
experience, preferably in the retirement or financial services industry.
Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility related to compliance services. Technical retirement plan knowledge.
Attention to detail. Exercises
judgment within defined procedures and ability to determine appropriate action. Excellent customer service skills.
Advanced Excel and working knowledge of Access preferred. Knows when escalation is required.
