Defined Benefit Plan and Cash Balance Administrator / Actuary. This position is full time, on site, with an assigned caseload. Responsibilities include contribution calculations and plan reports, benefit and distribution calculations,
non-discrimination testing including combination with 401(k) Plans, plan documents, and preparation of Form 5500 and related schedules.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in qualified plan
- Knowledge of current ERISA, IRS and DOL rules and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, accounting, or finance or related field, and /or ASPPA credentials preferred
- Experience using Datair software,
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, math and customer service skills
- Good organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
process of studying for and taking the Enrolled Actuary exams, a plus
