Operations Analyst

Overview: A rapidly growing Center City, Philadelphia based 401(k) record keeping company is seeking an experienced Operations  Associate to fulfill an opening in their Operations department. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter interested in utilizing accounting, technical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment in a diversified position.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to client inquiries, researching client issues and resolving service issues / errors, while demonstrating a proactive, solution-based approach.
  • System processing to address census, payroll or distribution issues
  • Reconciliation of trust activity to participant-based activity, and taking needed action on identified differences
  • Assisting with Year-End Processing
  • Reviewing and acting upon daily production reports
  • Reconciliation of cash and share positions between recordkeeping system and custodians
  • Root cause analysis of issues encountered to determine pro-active methods to prevent recurrence whether through automation or client intervention
  • Planning and organizing workflows in order to meet client expectations
  • Be involved in creating policies, procedures and control mechanisms to ensure client satisfaction
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements / preferences for the position include:

  • Retirement plan operations experience
  • Strong reconciliation/math skills
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to comprehend technical systems and processes
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Relius Administration system knowledge is a plus
