The On-Site Retirement Educator is responsible for education meetings on topics related to retirement plans and financial wellness for employees of our clients. Meetings are
held at the client work place for groups of 25-75 employees, in addition to individual consultations. The On-Site Retirement Educator will assist participants in completing transactions and answering questions related to their retirement accounts. He or
she will coordinate with other Milliman consultants who are responsible for client relationships, as well as work with clients directly to determine their education meeting needs. Up to 50% travel may be required. He or she will represent Milliman to
clients and their employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Meet individually with employees on-site to assist them in enrolling in the retirement plan,
completing retirement account transactions as well as answer questions related to their accounts via the participant website. He/she will not provide investment advice.
Conduct on-site employee meetings in a manner that is interesting and
informative to the audience. Gain the confidence and trust of those attending the meetings. Understand the needs of the audience and present the materials to capture the attention and benefit the listener.
Show up for all scheduled appointments on
time (30 minutes in advance) and well prepared.
Read and comprehend plan provisions from plan documents, summaries of plan provisions or other related plan materials in preparation of meeting with each client/employee.
Assist in the
customization of Power Point presentations based on topic templates for meetings, identify meeting handout materials and coordinate pre-meeting logistics with client.
Participate in the production of webinars and recorded webcast or
Master retirement planning strategies and be able to communicate them to plan participants.
Efficiently use Milliman’s retirement planning tools designed for plan participants to assist them in preparing
for retirement and understanding investment strategies.
Send follow up satisfaction emails to all employees whom had face-to-face consult.
Initiate and respond to internal calls or email requests to research an account or plan requirement.
Follow up on requests in a timely manner to ensure satisfactory conclusion.
Ensure final work products are high quality and provided in a timely fashion.
Submit daily and monthly reports for audit purposes and client
Perform other duties as requested by Milliman or client.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Experience with and understanding of employee benefit retirement plans is required.
Bilingual English /
Spanish preferred but not required.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required (a degree in Communications or financial field will be considered a plus).
Superb communication skills, ability to prepare and deliver
presentation covering complex topics in a simple style.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
Able to demonstrate strong organizational skills to track client meeting records and provide
Ability to converse and conduct group meetings and individual consultations in Spanish may be required.
Experience in training and development is a plus.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft
Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
