Team Leader, Retirement Plan Services Group

A nationally recognized professional services firm has an increasing need for an experienced staff member in its fast-growing Retirement Plan Services Group located in Joliet, IL.

If you have experience preparing and reviewing valuations and Forms 5500, and have at least 8 years of experience providing year-end compliance services, you are on your way to a rewarding career with CLA.  A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience/certifications is required.  The ability to effectively and efficiently serve clients regarding plan design and operational issues and extensive knowledge of ERISA and Department of Labor laws, as well as compliance testing are musts! Experience with FT William administration software is desired, but not necessary.  QPA, QKA, ERPA and/or CPA certifications are also desired.

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Plan Consultants and you will review compliance testing, documents, and valuations, and you will interact with clients and internal partners.  The ideal candidate has a willingness and ability to expand one’s knowledge of all aspects of qualified retirement plans by conducting research to resolve complex matters.
