We are one of the nation's leading benefit communication firms.  We work directly with employers throughout the U.S. providing customized benefit communication and administrative services to our client's individual employees.

A Benefit Communication Specialist (BCS) is responsible for the communication and enrollment of all core, voluntary and supplementary group benefits operating on site to support new hires and existing client's employees. 

We currently have openings in: Macon, GA; Denver, CO; Griffin, GA; Milwaukee, WI; Columbus, GA; Danville, AR; Duluth, GA; Moorestown, NJ. We have bilingual and non-bilingual opportunities. 

Duties:

  • Meet the assigned business operating hours of 8 hours per day to accommodate all employees of the hospital varied shift work schedule.
  • Make contact with new hires to schedule individual benefit reviews, and existing employees to schedule individual re-orientations.
  • Use superior verbal communication skills to fully educate and counsel employees regarding core and voluntary benefits.
  • Accept inbound service calls to assist individual employees with questions. As appropriate, educate and address questions while engaging the employee regarding benefit offerings.
  • Manage data entry of employee information using multiple systems such as electronic enrollment platforms, CRM databases, and paper applications to ensure timely enrollment submissions.
  • Provide support to the assigned client, while fostering an effective relationship and maintaining a positive rapport with all case partners (e.g. Lockton and insurance carriers). Participate, as directed, in HR and benefit team meetings within the assigned client organization.
  • Develop and maintain a progressive understanding and working knowledge of benefit plans and HIPAA compliance through ongoing training. If not pre-licensed, must obtain and maintain Life and Health Insurance Producers License post offer. 

Requirements:

  • Obtain Life and Health Insurance producer's license. Can be done post-offer and we pay and assist with the process.
  • Demonstrate superior verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional experience demonstrating self-motivation and result-driven outcomes.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and experience operating successfully without direct supervision.
  • Proven experience demonstrating customer-focused service.
  • Demonstrated ability to accept constructive coaching and apply to work processes producing positive outcomes.
