We are seeking a Retirement Plan Administrator or Junior Plan Administrator for our Long Beach office with outstanding client-relationship skills.

Plan Administration Experiences:

  • Communicate with employers regarding retirement plan administration, plan documents, participant loans, distributions and various compliance issues
  • Perform annual compliance testing including ADP / ACP, 401(a)(4), 410(b), Top Heavy, 402(g), 415, etc.
  • Prepare calculations of employer plan contribution using all types of allocation methods
  • Review and reconcile plan assets and trust activity
  • Preparation of Form 5500, related schedules, and other IRS forms

Requirements:

  • Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to participant in continuing professional education
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of experience with plan administration as a TPA
  • Experience working with ASC and Ftwilliam a plus
  • Experience working with defined benefit, cash balance plans and 403(b) plans a plus
  • ASPPA/NIPA credentials or willingness to obtain a professional designation
