The Senior Retirement Plan Analyst will play a key role in administering domestic and international defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans. Using expert level knowledge, this Analyst will apply the plan rules and policies to complex processes to determine eligibility for contributions, withdrawals and distributions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and project leadership skills to assist with projects including operational analysis for new procedures, optimization of HRIS reporting and recommendations for process improvement.  Additionally, the Senior Retirement Analyst will:

  • Gather, organize and present information to plan fiduciaries
  • Support annual financial and tax reporting, prepare for plan audits and calculate retirement plan contributions
  • Coordinate the design, implementation and testing of HRIS and payroll systems enhancements

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal Senior Retirement Plan Analyst candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of retirement plan administration experience
    • Associate’s Degree and eight (8) years of retirement plan administration experience
  • Three (3) years of data analysis experience to include identifying issues, comparing data, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create advanced spreadsheets (e.g., formulas and functions such as V-lookup, and pivot tables) to support administrative processes and to manage and validate data within spreadsheets
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately and timely prepare periodic reconciliations of financial transactions and accounts
  • Ability to calculate, analyze, and interpret mathematical information such as percent differences, ratios, median, mean, weighted average, etc.
  • Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and communicate with project partners
  • Ability to streamline processes, integrate, and associate pieces of information gathered from multiple sources and apply to projects
  • Ability to think strategically and see how parts interact with the big picture
  • Ability to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas and solutions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • CEBS or other applicable professional designation
  • SAP experience
  • Meeting management experience
