Plan Administration and Consulting, LLC is a local TPA firm providing design, administration and compliance services for DC plans. Seeking a full time employee responsible for all aspects of the administration of qualified defined contribution retirement plans including 401(k) and Profit Sharing plans. Plan Administration and Consulting, LLC has been serving clients in the Mid-South since 1998. Our parent company Watkins Uiberall, PLLC, is the largest locally owned public accounting firm in Memphis. With offices in Memphis and Tupelo, the firm has served the Mid-South since 1971.


  • Review, reconcile and summarize plan financial statements.
  • Review employee census data to determine plan eligibility and vesting.
  • Prepare Plan Documents, amendments and notices.
  • Prepare Plan account summary reports and participant statements.
  • Perform compliance and nondiscrimination testing including ADP/ACP, 410(b) coverage, top heavy, 415 annual addition limits and cross testing.
  • Allocate employer match contributions and profit sharing contributions using pro-rata, integrated and cross-tested formulas.
  • Prepare various governmental reporting forms including Forms 5500 and 1099-R.
  • Communicate directly with clients and their professional advisors regarding plan administration.
  • Calculate amount available for loans and process necessary paperwork.
  • Prepare and process distribution packages for terminated, retired or deceased plan participants.


  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues regarding qualified retirement plans.
  • Business experience preferred, but not required.  We do provide training for this position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for math and analytical tasks.
  • Great organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • Experience with Datair Pension Systems and Relius Documents a plus, but not required.
