Defined Contribution Client Relationship Manager

Niles Lankford Group & Affiliated Companies

in Plymouth IN / Powell OH / Mount Pleasant SC / Peoria AZ / Cincinnati OH / Telecommute

We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager with experience in administration of Defined Contribution Plans, including 401(k), 403(b) Plans and DB / DC Combo Plans.   The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to develop and grow with a strong administrative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconciling Trust Assets and Deposits
  • Calculation of Employer Contribution
  • ADP / ACP Non-discrimination Test
  • 401(a)(4) Non-discrimination Test
  • 410(b) Average Benefits Percentage Test
  • Preparation of Form 5500, Related Schedules
  • Consulting with Plan Sponsors to optimize plan design
  • Proactively communicate with clients
  • Review completed work by other associates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience working with retirement plans
  • Experience completing all required testing including ADP / ACP, 415, 416, 401(a)(4), 410(b) etc.
  • Knowledgeable with rules and regulations of ERISA, DOL, IRS
  • Very knowledgeable with Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Effective Communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Team player

OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Relius Administration and Government Plans
  • QKA / QPA or APA
  • Self-Motivated
  • Desire to continue growth and education
  • Organized and have ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Have a positive “can-do” attitude
