Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for maintaining relationships with participant-directed 401(k) plan clients, including meeting with plan trustees and key employees, monitoring plan investments, and conducting employee education and enrollment meetings.  This role is also responsible for managing portfolios for and relationships with Defined Benefit and trustee-directed pooled Defined Contribution plan clients.  This individual will report to the Senior Wealth Manager and collaborate directly with the President of the firm, implementing retirement plan processes and monitoring investment strategies developed by the firm. 

Major areas of responsibility include the following:

  • Proactively scheduling meetings with the Investment Committees and trustees of all assigned participant-directed 401(k) plans according to appropriate service levels.
  • Assisting Investment Committees and trustees of assigned participant-directed 401(k) plans on an ongoing basis with the selection and monitoring of investments available to plan participants according to criteria outlined in the plan’s Investment Policy Statement.
  • Conducting employee education and enrollment meetings for assigned group of 401(k) plan clients.
  • Managing trustee-directed pooled retirement plan allocations within the firm guidelines as determined by the Nadler Financial Group Investment Committee for assigned group of retirement plan clients.
  • Preparing proposals for new potential retirement plan clients, meeting with new potential retirement plan clients, and successfully onboarding new retirement plan clients.  This includes performing vendor and investment platform comparisons.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of five years in the retirement plan industry
  • Knowledge of investments and financial markets
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • High level computer skills

Preferred Experience and Attributes

  • Experience doing 401(k) educational presentations to large groups of 401(k) plan participants
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses
  • CFP® or other industry designations
  • Experience using Junxure CRM software or similar software
  • Knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations and industry best practices
