About the Retirement Team

Organizations retain us to oversee their workplace savings programs, including 401(k), 403(b), Pension and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation plans.  We support our plan sponsor clients by providing fiduciary oversight, strategic plan design, and innovative investment consulting solutions. 


Investment Performance & Plan Reporting

  • Coordinate and produce quarterly investment performance reports utilizing Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and other internal proprietary systems.
  • Coordinate and produce executive summaries of key plan statistics.
  • Ongoing project based work to improve reporting systems.

Investment Research & Fund Analysis

  • Assist in conducting investment manager searches, and generating fund analysis reports.
  • Participate in investment manager due diligence process.
  • Maintain database of investment managers.

Client Service

  • Assist with day-to-day service matters and concerns with clients.  Take the lead on follow up items from client meetings.
  • Take calls and/or email inquiries from 401(k) plan participants and plan sponsors regarding participant eligibility, enrollment, distribution/loan requests, and investment guidance.  
  • Assist with maintaining client fiduciary file and participate in fiduciary audit process.
  • Take the lead on fulfillment of client meeting materials (drafting presentations, printing and binding).

Vendor Management

  • Assist in request for proposal (RFP) process, coordinating requests to vendors and organizing responses to present to clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
  • Comfortable taking the lead on client engagements as experience dictates.

Professional Qualifications Desired, But Not Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, finance, economics, mathematics or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years related experience.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66, (or the willingness to obtain these licenses in 90 days of employment).
  • Working knowledge of ERISA compliance, retirement plan design, and investments.

Aspirational Qualifications (Areas we’d hope you have future interest)

  • Investment Expertise: Progress towards or completion of CFA, CAIA or CIMA designations
  • Qualified Plan Expertise: Progress towards or completion of QPA, QKA and/or CPFA designations.
  • Technical Expertise:  Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel including use of VBA and Macro’s.  General knowledge of programing languages such as (Python, JavaScript, SQL, C++, and/or R).
