Senior Defined Contribution (DC) Analyst

RHI is seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy and self motivated individual with a professional demeanor and a solid defined contribution retirement plan background.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a group of retirement plans, including but not limited to 401(k), 401(k) Safe Harbor, 403(b), ESOP/KSOP and Profit Sharing Plans
  • Performing trust accounting and asset reconciliation
  • Reading, analyzing and applying plan provisions in accordance with the client's plan and trust documentation
  • Providing audit support
  • Coordination of new plan setup, implementation, and conversion

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong technical background
  • Minimum of 3 years experience and proficiency in the general aspects of plan administration and compliance issues relating to Daily Valuation and Balance Forward retirement plans
  • Experience and knowledge of the SunGard RELIUS ASP platform is a plus
  • Industry Certification (QKA, QPA) or pursuit of such designations is strongly encouraged
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL rules regarding qualified plans
  • Experience in all aspects of plan compliance using an administration software system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, solid mathematical aptitude, specifically analytical and problem-solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently on multiple assignments and complete them within recommended time frame
  • Demonstrates maturity, integrity and the ability to work in collaboration with the team as well as independently
  • Advanced skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook
