Retirement Plan Marketing Specialist

The Retirement Plan Marketing Specialist serves as a resource to Financial Advisors (FAs) and their clients regarding overall business retirement plan issues, which may include plan type and design reviews,
product analysis, vendor selection, proposal generation and presentation, and regulatory updates, resulting in increased plan sales. The Specialist position requires extensive contact with internal and some external customers to provide retirement plan
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of ERISA and assist FAs with technical questions.
Support FAs with selling and servicing retirement plans
including ordering proposals, conducting sales presentations, responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and coordinating details to implement/convert plans.
Serve as a liaison between vendors and FAs. This requires a strong understanding of
various retirement plan providers including their product offerings, features and support.
Conduct conference calls with internal and external clients in order to inform them of product options or to address technical or product issues.
Create marketing materials for FA and/or client use, as well as, coordinate content from retirement plan providers.
Build and deliver training to new and seasoned FAs.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations that impact
Generate and communicate actionable business development ideas.
Assists with the planning, organizing and execution of retirement-related conferences, meetings and campaigns.
