small to mid-size plan market. Due to increased demand for Cash Balance Plans, TPS Group is pleased to announce that we are seeking an Enrolled Actuary to add to our Actuarial & Defined Benefit team of professionals.
candidates must currently have Enrolled Actuary status and have practical experience in retirement plan administration. Small to mid-size plan market experience is preferred.

seeking to fill the position with an Enrolled Actuary who embraces the importance of a client relationship and can communicate technical information clearly to clients, accountants, boards and other third parties.
Since defined benefit
administration, particularly the Cash Balance market, continues to evolve, ideal candidates will embrace change and be able to adapt to constantly to evolving regulations.
Enrolled Actuary status is required. No
Practical experience in retirement plan administration required, preferably small market plans.
Cash Balance experience is preferred, but not required.
Experience with ASC / FASB, GASB, SERP, PRM / OPEB is
Excellent communication skills and be comfortable conducting client meetings in person or via conference call or Skype meetings.
Perform required testing, including coverage, non-discrimination, and top heavy.
Understanding of defined contribution administration is a plus!
Experience with compliance and legal is a plus!
