TWG Benefits, Inc., an industry-leading consulting firm that provides support to more than 600 qualified and
non-qualified retirement plans, is currently interviewing candidates for a Daily Valuation Specialist/Retirement Plan Administrator position. The qualified candidate will join us at our Northbrook, IL office with
possibilities of working remotely.
TWG is looking for an individual who is a self starter and has intermediate to advanced knowledge regarding the Relius Recordkeeping system.
The applicant must be precise and organized. You must enjoy
working with a team in a fast-paced environment while acquiring new skills. You must be able to multitask and meet several deadlines throughout the day.
The applicant must have:
Minimum of 3
years experience working with Relius recordkeeping software including mastery of the following:
Contribution Processing & Posting
Processing of Loans & Distributions
Other transactions including posting of dividends,
Microsoft Office skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent computer skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in the
administration of Qualified Plans including 401(k), New Comparability, and DB/CB plans
Relius Administration/Documents knowledge
ASPPA designations (QPA, CPC, etc.)
Strong written and oral communication
management and organization
Able to work independently, multitask, and set own priorities with limited supervision
Bachelor's Degree in at least one of the following (or similar): Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business
Plan Design, Implementation and Set up
Plan Document/Amendment/Notices drafting
Serve as technical resource to internal staff
Calculation of Employer Contributions
(5500, 5310, 5330)
Trust Accounting and Reconciliation
Balance Forward recordkeeping
Both perform and review daily valuation recordkeeping processes including distributions, loans, contributions, fees and any other such processes
that are assigned. Perform all functions related to bringing new Plans onboard (conversions) and transferring existing Plans over to other providers (de-conversions).
Perform quarterly participant statement process
Both perform and review
other tasks that are the responsibility of the Daily Department including cash reconciliations, share reconciliations, fee disclosures, Fi360 reporting, 22c2 requests and any other such tasks that are assigned.
