We are looking for an highly organized and client service focused Client Service Specialist to join our team. You will provide support to the Advisors and Management Team and work with clients directly as necessary. Candidates that fit into our firm and culture will enjoy working as part of a team and have a passion for client service. This individual will have a desire to develop and implement team processes to provide high-quality service that exceeds client expectations.

Essential Functions

  • Open new accounts and make changes to existing accounts for both high net worth individuals and corporate retirement plans
  • Act as back-up to other members of the Client Services Team
  • Assist in maintaining industry regulatory requirements from both the SEC & DOL
  • Interact with clients by phone, email, website and in-person
  • Process & track standard client requests such as checks, wires, asset transfers, address changes, ACH set-up and more
  • Maintain electronic client files and records
  • Coordinate maintenance of corporate retirement plans investment line-ups
  • Assist with production of Plan Sponsor reporting and Participant Education materials for corporate retirement plans
  • Coordinate client mailings or email "blasts" as needed

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum 5 years recent experience in a similar role in the Financial Services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or applicable years of service
  • Experience with Junxure and Tamarac AdvisorView a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required
  • Great organization and time management
  • Detail oriented and client service focused
  • Series 65 or Series 7 preferred, but not required
  • Experience with TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab & Co and corporate retirement plan recordkeepers a plus
  • Spanish speaking a plus
