Abacus Benefit Consultants, Inc. is a growing third-party administration firm, providing consulting and administrative services to qualified retirement plan sponsors for over 25 years. We are seeking to add both a Senior and Junior Pension Administrator
to manage a block of business based on level of experience.
This position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy, and problem solving ability. It is imperative that the candidate possess excellent verbal and written
communication skills, and provide an extremely high level of service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess 3 or more years of experience with an in-depth knowledge of Defined Contribution/Defined Benefit and Cash Balance
Combination administration to include:
Preparation of annual valuation/compliance reports
Asset reconciliation and Trust Accounting
Knowledge and understanding of large audited plans
Consulting and analysis on Plan design to serve client interest
qualifications for this position include:
Working knowledge of ASC & FT William software
Accounting, Finance and/or math degrees
knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft software
Strong analytical and
Achievement of or ability to work towards industry designations
