Responsibilities

  • Solicit / audit annual census data to ensure year-end testing/report packages are executed with quality and accuracy, on-time ever time.
  • Calculate annual employer contribution calculations / true-ups
  • Perform annual nondiscrimination suite of compliance tests (i.e. ADP/ACP, 415, Top-Heavy, 402(g), 410(b) Coverage Test etc.). Consult clients on compliance failure correction strategies, as needed.
  • Preparation signature ready Form 5500’s and related forms and or schedules
  • Create / distribute required annual notices
  • Calculate annual RMD’s and solicit new RMD participant elections
  • Process Annual Plan Force-outs
  • Consult on plan design enhancements and or discretionary amendments
  • Accountable for the proactive and consultative delivery of LT Trust Services while exceeding established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
  • Participate in Advisor/Client conference calls and or meetings as needed.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to company polices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Help streamline, develop and implement new departmental policies/procedures, workflows, and service enhancements when directed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

  • College Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of 401(k) / defined contribution plan administration experience
  • Knowledge of ERISA Regulations and the applicable Internal Revenue Code is required
  • SunGard Relius Administration experience preferred
  • FT Williams Plan Document software experience preferred
  • Preferred working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
