The Financial Analyst will participate in new defined benefit client implementations and ongoing system updates through requirements definition, coding of plan requirements on administration platform and application testing.  Strong analytical and mathematical skills with an emphasis on problem solving. Development of plan coding systems and calculations with a high degree of accuracy and within deadlines.  This person will also be involved in miscellaneous project work. Work with pension plans with a high degree of complexity including working with multiple levels of leadership. Comfortable and able to excel in a team environment while providing informal leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members.


Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, finance or equivalent of 8 years’ experience required.

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Must have strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must have good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn, is preferred.
  • Aptitude in programming languages is preferred.  

Job Level:
Will consider at the Financial Analyst II level based on experience.
