The Defined Benefit Conversation Specialist provides accurate and timely review of contract and member level data. In this role you will complete testing on plans going through the conversion process.
In addition, the Defined Benefit Conversion Specialist will provide support throughout the conversion of member level records to the Lynchval software system by recommending revisions to data and documenting various steps of the conversion
Additional responsibilities may include:
Testing: Perform Lynchval, Express and Web regression testing using manual methods and automated testing tools. Analyze and evaluate testing scenarios, produce hand-calculated benefits
based on the Defined Benefit Pension Plan document to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in Lynchval calculations.
Data Assessing: Research, analyze and evaluate Participant data to ensure it complies with Defined Benefit Plan
provisions. Make recommendations for possible changes in data location to ensure an accurate conversion to Lynchval Admin software takes place. This may include reviewing participant and contract level coding, class codes, participant salaries,
service and modifiers.
Manage, prioritize and document data assessment activities for standard and less complex Defined Benefit Pension plans, while meeting the quality and timing expectations of internal and external clients.
effectively with internal partners regarding all aspects of Defined Benefit Pension Plan contract and participant level records. Collaborate effectively with peers to share testing results.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 8 years of experience.
Defined Benefit knowledge is preferred.
Successful candidates will have the
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, math, problem solving, organizational, attention to detail, good reading comprehension and interpretation skills required.
Balancing working independently with working
in a team environment.
Basic understanding of accounting and recordkeeping systems, PC applications, and Defined Benefit plans helpful.
