Goldleaf Partners is seeking a positive and energetic Operations Specialist to perform internal operations functions in a fast-paced, growing company.

Location: Bloomington or Baxter, MN

 KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete Processing, QC, and Confirm Distributions and Loans
  • Complete Processing, QC, and Confirm Payrolls
  • Support Year end Processing responsibilities related to Compliance Testing and 5500 Processing
  • Complete all processing related to quarterly valued plans
  • Complete Trust Accounting for clients who have Pooled and SDBA Investments in their plan
  • Provide Plan Installation & Termination Support as needed
  • Achieve assigned goals related to turnaround times and accuracy
  • Communicate significant issues and exceptions to an appropriate higher level of authority within the organization in a timely manner

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) in accounting or business, or equivalent business experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with databases and data management
  • Understanding of financial markets and financial service organizations
  • Team player, willing to help out where needed
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow
  • Pro-active innovative thinker
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with M-Files
  • Ability to effectively assess risk
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Retirement Administration experience in a professional environment where processing and/or reconciliation has been the focus or banking experience
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, and payroll deductions as they relate to retirement plans
  • Knowledge of banking and bank transactions
  • Knowledge of general retirement plan administration
  • Experience with reconciliation processes
