The objective of the Account Specialist position is to provide consistent, high quality support to clients and Institutional Investment Solutions Relationship Management Teams. This position may support one or more Relationship/Relationship Managers in
the servicing of a group of clients. In addition, this role is responsible for responding to direct client requests; coordinating, facilitating, and processing information and documents pertaining to their assigned clients (includes both new and existing
clients). Much of this work will be related to the timely resolution of client inquiries and requests.
This individual will also assist IIS Relationship/Relationship Managers with various internal projects and requests for information. The Account
Specialist will work in close cooperation with Investment Managers, Operations, Advisory Centers, and other SunTrust lines of business including Commercial, Retail, and Private Wealth Management. May also interact with external vendors, like FASCore and
Newkirk, for the support of clients and their institutional business.
The Account Specialist will take ownership of solving client problems and be the IIS voice to the client in conjunction with the Relationship Manager.
3-5 years experience in investment driven environment
3-8 years experience in working with ERISA plans
Understanding of basic investments, asset allocation and securities administration
College degree is business administration, accounting, or finance is preferred
