Director of Plan Administration Retirement Plan Services Group

Do you have a passion for qualified plan compliance and administration?  Do you enjoy leading a group of employee benefits professionals and processes?  Do you enjoy meeting new people and learning from new experiences?  If so, then CLA, a nationally recognized professional services firm with more than 100 offices, may be a fit for you.  CLA has an increasing need for an experienced staff member in its fast-growing Retirement Plan Services Group, in a convenient location at the western edge of Joliet, Illinois.

Prior work experience of 8 or more years, providing year-end compliance services and preparation and review of plan valuations and Forms 5500 are your first stepping stones to a rewarding career with CLA.  A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience/certifications is required.  Proven success managing a team and knowledge of new comparability/cross testing are required.  You will have the ability to effectively and efficiently serve clients and answer questions related to ERISA and Department of Labor regulations.  The ideal candidate will have experience with FT William administration software, plan documents, and will possess QPA, QKA, ERPA and/or CPA designations.

As Director of Plan Administration, you will be responsible for leading a team, and reviewing annual compliance testing, documents, and valuations.  You will interact with clients and internal partners.  The ideal candidate is willing to expand one’s knowledge of all aspects of qualified retirement plans by researching complex matters.
