Retirement Plan Administrator

3(16) Fiduciary Services Corporation (316 FSC) is currently searching for a candidate to work remotely as a Retirement Plan Administrator. 316 FSC, established in 2013, serves as the fiduciary Plan Administrator for many clients across the country including Multiple Employer 401(k) Plans and Single Employer 401(k) Plans.

The Retirement Plan Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a book of business which will be assigned  based on the duties performed for each plan. Time and task management is extremely important in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of DC pension administration experience
  • Experience with leading phone conferences and writing emails while maintaining a professional interaction with clients
  • Experience prioritizing multiple daily responsibilities and successfully completing these responsibilities in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Proficient in using Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
  • Disciplined and able to work as a team and/or independently from home
  • ASPPA or NIPA credentials such as QKA, QPA, CPC, APA, APR – preferred

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Assist all plan contacts and plan participants with general inquiries
  • Successfully move plan contacts through the pension administration cycle
  • Coordinate and ensure New Plan Setup is finalized at TPA and Investment Company systems
  • Review and archive all executed plan documents in appropriate Client Portal
  • Ongoing processing transactions such as loan and distribution fiduciary approval
  • Monitor and document annual reconciliation and testing for BOB to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Oversee and assist in plan audit if applicable
  • Review all aspects of your BOB with an understanding of current plan design, service providers, any plan problems and testing results
  • Other duties as assigned
