This position will give you an opportunity to unleash the hero in you by helping our medical department manage our client’s health, vacation and SRA plans while successfully building upon our relationships with
our medical carriers. Your innovative spirit will be key in uncovering opportunities to improve efficiency and grow our health and welfare department.
ESSENTIAL KEY FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be
Builds collaborative relationships with our carriers while serving as a liaison between our in office medical staff and external brokers and carriers.
Supports internal and external clients in an efficient and timely
fashion, always looking for ways to add value to the relationship.
Leads onboarding process and new plan set up while searching for opportunities to improve efficiency.
Processes all payments, reporting, qualifying events and
terminations, providing status to the Senior Benefits Administrator throughout the process.
Relationship building: Professional communication with medical carriers, while
looking for ways to grow our relationships with them.
Managing Performance: You are realistic about the goals set and consistently ask for performance feedback; you take the initiative to develop skills needed to perform
Great communicator: It is easy for you to get your point across concisely and clearly using proper grammar and proper punctuation in written and verbal communication.
You are great at anticipating issues ahead of time and getting a game plan in place to prevent mishaps.
Motivated: You have the ability to do what needs to be done, without influence from other people or
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
2 + years of providing extraordinary client service
Experience with group major medical insurance a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Excel
