Pelion Benefits is a corporate retirement plan specialist (TPA). We create custom Defined Benefit Pension, Profit Sharing, 401(k) and 403(b) plans for C-Corps, S-Corps, LLC’s, LLP’s and Sole Proprietors. Our market niche is small
to medium size privately owned companies.

Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience
3 to 5 years of experience working with retirement
Must be knowledgeable of ERISA, IRS and DOL rules & regulations
Experience completing all required testing including: ADP/ACP, 402(g) limits, 415 limits, 416(c) Top Heavy, 410(b) Coverage, 414(s), New Comparability Cross
Overall technical familiarity with plan rules including contribution limits, benefit restrictions under IRC 436, distributions, loans, hardships, etc.
Experience with trust reconciliation and completion of governmental forms
(5500SF, EZ) & related schedules, 5330, 8955-SSA)
Completion of Annual Valuation Reports
Coordinating, Compiling and Analyzing census information
Calculating Receivable Contributions
Perform cash reconciliation and
understand asset transfers in / out for brokerage and bank statement transactions; allocate gains and losses in pooled accounts.
Experience working with both calendar and fiscal year end clients
Software Skills: ASC, Relius, DGEM, Excel, Google, Word, Adobe, and PensionPro.
Knowledge of a retirement plan's administrative cycle, including IRS and DOL filing requirements and deadlines.
Knowledge of all aspects of
distributions including minimum distributions, hardship withdrawals, QDROs, loans
Strong accounting, multi-tasking, problem solving, and organizational skills
