Position Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for administering a pre-determined number of qualified retirement plan accounts. Other supervised responsibilities include but are not limited to, on-boarding of new
retirement plans on all internal platforms, all facets of daily retirement plan operations, and platform web operations activities. Work requires a high level of knowledge and understanding of methods, systems, policies and procedures, laws and
regulations applicable to retirement services administration. Work will also require a high level understanding of account principles and concepts, along with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Administers all assigned retirement accounts in accordance with the terms specified in the account, trust or plan document. Types of accounts may include but are not limited to all types of defined contribution
Researches and responds to internal and external customer inquiries and requests. Coordinates and manages the processing and dissemination of required disclosures and mailings for all retirement accounts.
coordinates onboarding and conversion of new retirement accounts, including scheduled account transactions and activity reports, and scheduling and coordination of retirement plan sponsor and enrollment meetings.
Performs daily operations on
platform and manages platform website data
Perform all work in compliance with applicable regulations/policy and procedures.
Experience with Relius / FIS
administration software and FTWilliams 5500 software a plus
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting, or equivalent work and educational experience; QKA, QPA or related professional designation preferred
Minimum of 5
years of retirement plan administration experience preferred
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn other job specific applications
Good reasoning and problem-solving skills
