National Associates, Inc., a division of Farmers National Banc Corp. is seeking a company President at our Fairview Park office.  This position will lead and manage the NAI team and provide consulting services to clients while leading the execution of marketing, sales and service plans.  This position requires skills in Leadership, Management, Consulting, and Marketing.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

MANAGEMENT (Approx 20%):

  • Execute on a strategic plan for NAI in alignment with the goals of the Holding Company
  • Manage annual budget for NAI
  • Ensure that NAI responsibly manages a book of business plan in accordance with all Federal, State and local legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide for and ensure development of NAI staff through coaching and development opportunities
  • Evaluate retirement plan products and services and select appropriate options for use by NAI
  • When necessary, renegotiate fees and agreements with clients
  • Conduct client visits and calls to ensure client loyalty and confidence
  • Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.  Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.

CONSULTING (Approx 45%):

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Meet and consult with clients on retirement plan design and development
  • Research and recommend multiple investment options for use in plans
  • Respond to client questions and requests
  • Conduct reviews of plan design studies and shares information with clients
  • Effectively communicate with clients to establish and maintain relationship as a trusted advisor
  • Establish initial fee agreements with new clients
  • Resolve all pricing disputes or service agreement issues
  • Consult with clients during plan re-design

MARKETING/SALES (Approx 35%):

  • Prospect, develop and establish new client relationships
  • Conduct sales presentations with prospects and clients
  • Build and maintain strong Centers of Influence (COI’s)
  • Maintain an active presence in various community and professional organizations
  • Participate/serve on local Boards where appropriate

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Accounting (or with equivalent work experience) with a strong background in retirement plans required
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the development and implementation of retirement plans and services (preferred 15+ years)
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in management
  • Securities licensure preferred (Series 6 or 63)
  • Membership in American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries  (ASPPA) preferred
