As an extension of the Account Management team, this position is responsible
for assisting with various aspects of client relationships to ensure the client satisfaction. The Relationship Account Manager will provide proactive communication to both internal & external clients as well as day to day account support, problem
resolution, research and analysis.
Serve as the single point of contact based on regional alignment in addressing basic and complex requests from plan sponsors, advisors and TPAs on processes such as
plan level changes and reconciliation.
Using organizational discretion applies critical and thinking and problem-solving skills to client-related issues.
Takes ownership and facilitates resolutions to client issues and mobilizes the
internal teams necessary to solve escalated issues.
Ability to juggle many different clients at once must be able to manage and prioritize their needs.
Process request that come through the Relationship Managers email box.
Assists management in identifying procedures and policies that are outdated or ineffective.
Assists management to improve department productivity through participation in unit meetings, ongoing training and self-development.

Performs general clerical activities, including faxing, copying and filing.
Demonstrate efficiency and flexibility in performing detailed transactions in a fast-paced work environment with frequent
interruptions and changing priorities.
Assists other areas of the department with various functions when volume is high and/or staffing levels are low.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills / Experience:
3-5 years of client relationship management experience required.
Bachelors’ degree is preferred, but not required.
Advanced knowledge of 401k plans, as well as basic understanding of
market operations, mutual fund classification, trading and general banking practices.
Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workflow and ensure duties and projects are completed by deadlines.
Reasoning and problem
solving skills to research and resolve general problems.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Access) sufficient to create
documents, spreadsheets, and business correspondence.
Advanced communication skills and professional demeanor to interact with all levels of management, other associates and counterparts at other firms.
Work independently and in a team
environment as well as cooperation with supervisor.
Work well under stress created by time deadlines, workflow volume changes, and telephone / associate inquiries.
Learn and understand the various legal documents required by various
companies in order to process client requests.
Learn and apply new information, skills, and processes, quickly including the various regulations, back office systems and imaging system.
Read and interpret financial statements, Perform
accurate data entry, 10 key by touch, and type at least 30 words per minute.
