Includes drafting plan amendments and plan restatements including 401(a) volume submitter, individually designed, 403(b),
and 457(b) deferred compensation plans. Prepare governmental filings relative to plan design changes.
Provide consultative plan design and technical assistance via plan design reviews and/or plan design discussions with prospective, new, or
current plan sponsors. Prepare explanatory letters, perform research and/or legislative project work, and respond to plan design inquiries from internal contacts, investment advisors, and retirement plan sponsors. Contribute as a subject matter
expert for various retirement services on-line or classroom courses.
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of Retirement Service experience
OR, 10+ years of experience as a retirement plan
document drafter or closely related discipline
Experience to include plan document work, plan design consultation and /or technical research
Industry designations preferred, such as QKA, QPA or TGPC (either already achieved or
Outstanding organizational skills
Demonstrated decision making skills
Technical knowledge of ERISA and current legislation
Experience in analysis and research
Excellent interpersonal & more formal communication skills (both written and verbal)
