Summary of Position: Provide support to Pension Plan Consultants

The candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness and able to work well with others. Knowledge of retirement plans is a plus, but not required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist consultants in the preparation of annual valuations –update / review census & eligibility, allocation of contribution, forfeitures & income
  • Preparation of annual & other government reporting forms – Form Series 5500, Form 945 etc…
  • Distribution & loan calculations & processing
  • Plan document preparation
  • Prepare plan termination filings and submissions to IRS & PBGC
  • Communication (written & verbal) with clients and advisors

Qualifications:

  • Excellent math skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytic, and written/verbal communications skills
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Self-motivated, team player can work well with minimal supervision
  • Keen attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and deadline tracking skills
  • Able to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
