Defined Benefit Administrator

Growing and expanding retirement plan benefits firm has an open position in Woodland Hills, CA for a Sr. Retirement Plan Administrator. Retirement Plan Administrators must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in all aspects of plan administration.

Looking for experience with Defined Benefit and Profit-sharing, cross tested, daily platform and balance forward plans. Datair knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full DB administration, distribution and loan paperwork
  • All compliance testing (401(a)(4), ADP/ACP, 410(b) etc.), completion of valuation reports
  • Key contact with clients and responsible for client retention and relationship. Must effectively communicate with clients and advisors to address all client issues, provide necessary research, problem solving and resolution support
  • Government Forms - preparation of IRS Form 5500, 8955, all related schedules and notices
  • Effective verbal and writing skills are required as job includes extensive direct client contact.

All applicants should have a strong desire to exceed client expectations, have an in-depth understanding of the products and services we provide, have the ability to identify opportunities and introduce other services to clients when in the client's best interest. Pension credentials preferred with CE's supported by us.
