Retirement Plan Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Administrator for our Employee Benefits Consulting team to be based out of our growing office located in Brookfield, WI.  The ideal candidate would be a technically skilled professional with versatile experience in retirement plan administration, compliance analysis and client servicing.


  • Understanding of retirement plan design and familiarity with proto-type documents
  • All facets of annual administration and compliance testing and reporting for defined contribution plans including contribution calculations and 5500 reporting
  • Day-to-day contact with clients and their available representatives
  • Perform research relating to employee benefit plans
  • Respond to consulting and administrative questions from clients

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of employee benefit administration experience with a third party administrator
  • Proficiency with computerized employment benefit software and plan document language 
  • Strong technical knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations pertaining to retirement plans
  • Strong verbal and written skills with the emphasis on being able to articulate complex benefit information to a variety of clientele
  • Ability to balance communication on a daily basis with clients and their representatives along with report processing needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or other professional degree preferred
  • Certification with relevant retirement organizations, such as ASPPA, a plus.
  • Experience with ESOP plans a plus
  • Relius Administration experience a plus
