Wells Fargo & Company, a
diversified financial services company, is seeking a retirement plan/IRA specialist to join the Law Department in Minneapolis. This position will provide paralegal support for the Law Department attorneys supporting these areas.
researches issues and matters involving ERISA and employee benefits law. This may involve complex and detailed research, document review, and factual investigations. Responsibilities include research and advice with respect to pension plans,
401(k) plans, and other retirement plans; review of communication and marketing materials, assisting with powers of attorney, divorce decrees, and beneficiary disputes; monitoring applicable legislative and regulatory developments; and occasional IRA
3+ years of paralegal experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Strong research skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Other Desired Qualifications
Prefer 3 or more years of experience working with qualified retirement plans and IRAs with a working knowledge of ERISA and other applicable laws.
Paralegal certification may be required in some states
