This individual filling this role is responsible for meticulously interpreting participant and plan data requirements to have accountability with respect to the onboarding of new clients, developing automated solutions for internal partners to take to
our existing client base and for supporting the implementation of system upgrades to our in-house hosted participant accounting platform. In addition this individual supports internal team members in annual compliance testing and government reporting
activities that ultimately impact our external clients and internal partners. Position is client facing through verbal and email client contact while supporting client-facing market-based administration of accounts as necessary by providing compliance
based monitoring reports, standard statements, required regulatory reports and ad-hoc information requested.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of establishing plan set up and
plan deconversions as it relates to the primary participant accounting system and its ancillary systems for the on-boarding RPS full service defined contribution clients. Conversion scope will vary in complexity and impact to Johnson Bank based on
plan design and administrative complexity.
Coordinates the data and asset transfer from the prior recordkeeper/trustee.
Responsible for determining and executing the investment of plan assets.
Responsible for resolving out
of balance conditions relating to participant records and assets, and that all required participant data is received in order to ensure a seamless transition.
Manages all aspect of transitioning participant loans including analyzing and
identifying loan issues are addressed with the plan sponsor.
Identifies activities, dependencies, and deliverables in order to manage the requirements for payroll and demographic transmissions including inbound and outbound files.
Coordinates and leads payroll related interactions with the plan sponsor’s payroll provider for the participant data requirements needed in establishing the on-going administration of the plan.
Partners with market representation on the
completion, review and approval of business requirements.
Responsible for analyzing the test and live data as well as problem resolution as needed.
Incumbent will also be accountable for the timely generation of employee
benefit accounting and, revenue sharing, trust fees, redemption fees in a daily or balance forward participant accounting environment.
Accountable for management, testing and implementation of Relius system and web upgrades, including version
testing and planning, creating online solutions based upon system capabilities and client preferences.
Responsibilities also include preparation of 5500s, Summary Annual Reports, various statements, database maintenance, complex non-discrimination
testing, including conformance with established and changing regulations, generation of participant fee disclosures, report development, and plan conversions.
Advises on operational and compliance testing impact of plan provisions and
working with RPS Relationship Managers and Account Managers to provide strategic plan design solutions.
Consults with and offers clients and RPS Relationship Managers and Account Managers suggestions as to how to structure contributions to pass
Must ensure proper administration in accordance with plan document, DoL and IRS regulations.
On-going maintenance and knowledgeable support of plan sponsor and participant websites, as well as the Johnson Bank Customer
Support Center access and on-going training.
Position will also contribute to the on-going maintenance of participant census information using system tools and processes including eligibility, contact information and vesting.
