Plan Document QA Software Tester part of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory

Contract Project Description:, a division of Wolters Kluwer, has an immediate opening for a Plan Document QA Software Tester. This position is a specialized position that will be responsible for assisting with quality control and accuracy of all documents on the system. If you have plan document knowledge, along with QA Software Testing experience or document experience, contact us and join our team.  This is a FT contract position which could lead into a possible full-time position.

Basic Function:

This position will assist staff attorneys and software developers with all aspects of the document software to ensure that all legal documents on the system remain in compliance as documents are updated and new features/enhancements are released. This position is responsible for knowing document regulations, and preferably the system, to assist with design documents and the testing of the document features and enhancements to ensure items delivered to production are in working order and compliant.

Essential Duties:

  • Work with product owners to collect requirements to create a design document complete with acceptance testing that developers will use to develop new features and enhancements
  • Fully test new features/enhancements and document all tests that have been run
  • Maintain documentation for future testing of the same and/or similar software features and enhancements
  • Suggest software improvements through the course testing
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Stay up to date with current testing practices and methodologies
  • Work with other QA staff to create testing policies and procedures so that documentation delivered to other team members is consistent
  • Create and maintain document User Guides as needed
  • Must stay up to date on legal regulations/updates that affect the plan types offered by


  • Four year College Degree or 3 years of industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of benefit plans, specifically defined contribution plans - minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with customer support
  • Proficiency
  • Proficiency in MS Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook and other typical business software applications
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills

Other Knowledge and skills:

  • Experience with compliance software a plus
  • Experience with DB plans software a plus
  • Detail oriented
  • Quick learner and self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well in a team
